Our Garden

We started a garden this past Memorial Day. We are trying to grow pumpkins, lettuce, carrots, Brussels sprouts, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, and some herbs.

And our poor cilantro. We have rabbits and they keep eating it every night. We have not been able to eat and enjoy any of it.


As you can see our garden is a work and progress. We have some plants that are growing quite well and some that are getting eaten by other things. We hope to enjoy the food that we grow as it comes time to pick and eat it!

It must be true. School is over and summer is here!

Last Day of School

Yesterday was the last day of school. My mom now has a 9th grader, a 6th grader, a 4th grader, a 2nd grader and a kindergartner. She also has a child in every school! She will be busy come September with all of those conferences and meetings. But let's not rush to September just yet, here are some memories from school this year and some pictures.

I finished middle school this year and I am moving on to high school. This year has been fun with going on my foreign language trip to Vermont and doing jazz band. I have learned so much and had so much fun with my friends. Next year I will be going to the high school and starting a new chapter in my life. I will also be starting... seminary!!!! I can't wait. Next year looks good:)

Nathanael finished elementary school and is on is way to the middle school. He has had alot of fun this year from Civil War day to his Seabreeze trip. He is now looking forward to going to the middle school and changing classes!

Abigail

Abigail has enjoyed being in the same class as Breea again, from working together to field trips. She will be going into 4th grade. She is excited about starting a new grade and having even more fun!

Rachel

Rachel has had a great time this year having Mrs. Dalton just like Abigail did. She has had many fun times with riding the bus with Kahri. Rachel was very sad with leaving Mrs. Dalton, but she will get to have her again next (she is very happy!). Rachel even wore the same shirt to school on the first and last day of school (if you couldn't tell:) ) She can't wait for 2nd grade!

Samuel had a great year a Precious Kids Preschool. He made many new friends and had a great time at school and learning new things. He is very excited about going to Council Rock next year with Rachel and riding the bus!


This has been a great year! Everyone has made a friend or two, played a few games and had many great times. We are looking forward to summer and swimming at the Pulley's:)

Welcome!!!

To the Chilson Family blog!!! My mom has been saying forever that we need to get one and that she will do it. Well, let's just say that never happened, so I took matter's into my own hands. I finished school and my mom said that I should start a blog. I don't think she thought I would really do just that.

The picture below is of all of my siblings and me last winter when my mom was trying to get a good picture for our Christmas card. I was looking for a good picture to have for our first post, but I didn't find any that were really good, so this one will have to do.

So, I will try to do the best I can to keep it up dated (with my mom's help) and keep you up dated on what the Chilsons are doing and what chaos we are into next. Hope you like and enjoy it!
