Father's Day
This year we also celebrated Father's Day (big surprise, I know). This year had big Father's and Mother's Day gifts. My mom received her new Kitchen Aid mixer and my dad got... and iPod touch! Here are some picture from this year's Father's Day. First, his gift:
My dad still exploring his new iPod, but so far, I think it is safe to say he loves it.
So, this post if for you dad. Thank you for everything! Thank you for going to work everyday for us so that we can eat and have a house. We are so grateful for everything (including teaching us... me how to drive standard and being patient when I am freaking out because I stalled it). We love you so much!

Day 1
We ate lunch while watching a movie in the den (Shhhh! don't tell Dad... :) )
They rescued... when asked! (Wow)
This is Samuel's idea of putting things away, put them on the stairs for people to trip over later...
Abigail thought she would be funny and eat upstairs (again, don't tell Mom or Dad...)
And when Dad came home... clean! Clean table
Clean counter
No dishes in the sink (except the ones that must be washed by hand)
No mess!
They even put their dishes in the dish washer! (I think something happened to my real siblings...)
What does all of this mean? It means a happy Dad and happy children!

Overall, it was a good day. No fights, no huge messes, and we are all still alive. That is what I call a good day. :)
Day 1- success. Day 2- we will have to see... :)

And they're gone!!
Well, almost all of them. Most of the boys left for Scout Camp this week, that is, all of the boys except Samuel. Dad and Nathanael left of Saturday for Scout Camp and won't be back until next Saturday...

you know what that means... gluten food and party!! :) We are very excited for this upcoming week. We will miss them dearly, but have lots of fun without them. :) We love you guys!! :)

Auf Weidersehen!! :)

And they're back
Dad and Nathanael got home from scout camp this past Saturday. I'm a assuming that they had fun because I was not home when they got home and when I got home my dad was too tired to say much. My mom sent her camera with my dad and asked if he would take pictures. He took a few, just a few. Here are some of them (sorry, I can't really tell you what they are, but if you want to know, you can ask them sometime).

I thought this one looked cool how the fire was curving.
I love these where they are by the lake.

They are happy to be back home and we are happy to have them home again... maybe:) Nathanael can't wait to go again next year!!

And they're off
On Saturday Nathanael and Dad left for Scout Camp.

They were very excited to go and we were happy for them to go for many reasons. One that we were particularly happy for... we could eat gluten!!! We started making a list right away. Just a few things we have had a gluten pizza, pigs in a blanket and crepes. All of these things would have been impossible if our dad were here, but we still love you, Dad:)
They will be home on Saturday, but who's counting? :)
